With the roots tracing back to BaghelKhand Dynasty of Rewa, currently located in Madhya Pradesh India, The early founder of Rewa Gems, has been associated with the Royal Jewels of Baghel Dynasty.
Rewa, the land of Tansen, the mother town of White tiger, is where the early crafting of antique diamonds took place.
Seth Baijnath Ramsahai Agarwal, was the first philanthropist of the Rewa Gems. His work, success and association with the royal Family of BhagelKhand, helped build this historic Dharamshala/Shelter for the poor in 1942.
His legacy was carried forward by Gopal Das Agarwal , who ventured into the business of crafting rough diamonds into polished stone’s, and laid his foot in the metropolis of Mumbai.
During his era, he was renowned in india for sourcing rough diamonds straight from the Panna Mines of India.
Eventually, his sons, took the trade to international markets, in early 1960’s.
Mr Arun Agarwal, a renowned figure in Fancy Coloured Diamond trade, and Mr Ashok Agarwal, setting his foot into the Finest Burma Ruby, headquarted In Bangkok.
