All the Halloween cutters are finally here and I did a lot of sitting and staring at them this weekend. And then I remembered that’s not how things get made so I made some things and like start to finish I made these ones, sanded, drilled and everything. Hold your applause!!! Anyways I might actually be able to get Halloween stuff up in September this year, which means if I do manage that, I need to start on Christmas immediately!!!

Ah, look you guys, I cleaned up my work area (by taking everything off the desks and putting it on the floor of course) and then I started some things. I’m still waiting on cutters coming from overseas and I think they’re in a row boat slowing making there way to me but I’ve made a start with things I bought last year and never did anything with. Of course as soon as I sat down allllllll of the ideas I’ve been having for the last month or so just *p**f* left me but I have made a start and that’s a thing 😊

Scuse me, look who finally sat down and did some sanding and drilling and pitting together on the weekend. Still waiting...

Scuse me, look who finally sat down and did some sanding and drilling and pitting together on the weekend. Still waiting on some stuff to make Halloween but also I have a whole bunch of stuff that’s been sitting waiting for me to put it together so maybe by the end of the weekend I might have some more stuff put together, maybe 🤷🏼‍♀️

In the meantime while I wait for ALL my deliveries to arrive and for the weekend to get my work space cleaned, how about I post some other s**t! Like this reminder of what happens if you don’t properly care for your polymer clay earrings. These were a pair I made probably 4 years ago and they’ve been sitting in a pile of half finished earrings (half finished that doesn’t sound like me at all) that have been in direct sunlight and it’s caused them to fade. You should make sure you store your polymer clay earrings out of direct sunlight to keep them looking as fantastic as the day I actually finished putting them together. That reminds me, I should do care instructions to go with the earrings *adds to to do list!!!

Ok you guys, I KNOW, what the heck, but it’s been a time. Between starting a new job and busting my back and generally just lacking the motivation to even get off the couch for the better part of the last two years there has been no desire to even touch any clay let alone make anything. Heck I don’t think I even opened this account for nearly a year not even to see what others are doing. BUT, the creative bug has bitten and there is motivation so this is me saying please forgive my inconsistency and absence and I promise you Halloween is already in the works. I will have Halloween stuff in time for actual Halloween this year (not even potentially having to move house is gonna stop me). I have, as always, got new cutters coming both locally and from across the globe, and once I get my little hands on them I will get to making and being more active here, and hopefully I can get some consistency this time (hopefully 😬).
