Halloween is around the corner, but looking after your jewellery doesn’t have to be so scary 👻
Your ICONS are made to be worn. A little care goes a long way in keeping them sparkly, secure, and ready for whatever’s next.
* Give them a rest from the rough stuff. Manual work, the gym, cleaning; these are hard on gold & gemstones.
* Even ICONS need sleep. Take them off before bed to avoid accidental damage while you’re not looking.
* Solid gold isn’t invincible. Knocks & impacts can still leave their mark, so treat your pieces with the same care you’d give anything precious.
* Chemicals & ICONS don’t mix. Remove your pieces before make-up, creams, oils, perfumes, or chlorinated pools to avoid them getting dirty or any reaction with the alloys in gold.
* Cleaning, the ICONS way: warm water, a mild dishwashing soap, and a soft, fine toothbrush. Gently brush, rinse, and pat dry.
* Store them properly. Somewhere safe and dry keeps scratches and tangles at bay when your ICONS aren’t in play.
* If an ICON is being stubborn, don’t force it. The lock is precise by design. If it’s not clicking into place the way it should, forcing it can damage the mechanism. Bring it back to the Studio or drop us an email and we’ll sort it out.
