A chapter in the McIntyre family is sold. Our home of over 35 years was sold this morning to a lovely young couple, being their first home. I will really miss our gardens - there was nothing but grass when we moved in. Especially at the moment with the azaleas, May bush and hydrangeas all in full bloom and the borders of agapanthas ready to bloom soon. I will miss my Maggie's (I took some meat to the auction as they are still turning up). I will miss the prolific breeder- Rastus and all her possum babies and all the multiple king parrots, rosellas, lorikeets, kookaburras and little wrens. I will NOT miss the cockies! I will miss my beautiful neighbours terribly. They have become friends 🧡
We moved in late April to our forever home and ripped up all the horrible fake grass and now have beautiful lawns and the start of small gardens. We have a fig tree, pomegranate bush, cherry, pear, olive, lemon, lime, orange, nectarine and apple trees around the fence line. In pots we have blueberries and a dwarf peach tree.
Still don't know where I will build my vegie garden.
Our new kitchen and flooring goes in next month .. I must say I have missed my calling of being a project manager.🤔🙄
All this while Mr Rod had to have a double bypass and now with added complications.
Thanks Flynn for the memories 💗
