Did someone say Easter?? 🐰 A lot of our Ferngully tribe are getting a little excited with Easter around the corner so we have decided to focus that energy on making Easter bonnets, hats for the older kids that think bonnets are for babies 😉. If you have ANY spare art & craft bits at home that you think your babe would like to use please bring them in as the team will be getting arty from Monday with your children, helping them to create a masterpiece that they can proudly parade through the club on Tuesday 12th April at 10am 😍

NOTE- PLEASE remember to book your childminding in advance, we get a little busier over school holidays with older siblings in to play 🥰

Good morning beautiful ladies,

It is with a heavy heart that I let you know, today is my last day in crèche 🥺😩😢😭 💔

I started out in crèche as a volunteer then took on the position of crèche supervisor about 51/2 years ago. I have had the most amazing time looking after each and every one of your children. I can honestly say it has been so easy to come to work as your little ones bring so much light and laughter to my life.

I know I have said this to a few of you already this week but please let me express to you that you all should give yourselves a pat on the back for having the most amazing, polite and well mannered children I have ever come across and all this comes from fabulous parenting, so thank you for making my job so easy.

I follow many of you on Facebook and can’t believe that some of my very first little ones that I cared for are now going into high school next year, that completely blows my mind and makes me feel a little OLD 🤣

I have much to look forward to with the year ahead as I’m going to be a Grammie to a beautiful baby boy in April and I will be looking after him a couple of days a week while my daughter goes back to work. I will also be helping my husband out in his business too, (that was his idea), I think he thinks if he can keep me busy I won’t go and spend all our money shopping on our new grandchild 🤣😂 I also turn the big 50 I can’t believe that, I don’t feel that age at all. I can thank you all for that as I’m sure it’s your little ones that keep me young and on my toes.

I will miss Ferngully and all your smiling faces but of course most of all I will miss all your beautiful children that I feel became my little children even if it was only for a couple of hours each day.

Last of all I just want to wish you and your families a healthy and happy life and very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and hopefully I see your gorgeous faces out and about.

What a wonderful morning we had celebrating Ferngully’s Christmas party. Santa arrived around 9:30 with a bag full of presents 🎁 for the children they were so delighted with their gifts. Thank you to all the mummies that came and had a wonderful time with their little ones.
I love the expression/reactions on the faces of the children while Santa was around spreading his jolly jolliness. Merry Christmas 🎄 🤶🏻🎅🏼

The Christmas party for Ferngully will be on 22nd of November. Santa will be arriving around 9/9:15am. Come dressed in your favourite Christmas outfit.

Please bring with you a wrapped book with your child’s name on it, and a plate of food to share.
