Retreat prep is in full swing! ✂️📦

There’s something so satisfying about seeing all the pieces cut, sorted and stacked neatly, ready for creativity to happen. 😊

These are just some of the bits and pieces for two of the cards we’ll be making at my upcoming retreat (minus the card bases and the fussier dies, because I don’t want to give away all the surprises just yet! 😉). I’ve also finished prepping another two projects, so the piles are definitely growing.

I have to admit, seeing everything organised and ready to go is one of my favourite parts of the process. Am I the only one who loves a neatly stacked pile of cardstock and die-cuts?

Unfortunately, registrations for this retreat have now closed, but if you’d like to hear about future retreats, either in person or online, I’d be happy to add your name to my interest list. Just send me a message or comment below. 💕

Blast From the Past! ✨

For tonight’s live I took a trip right back to where it all began and cased a card from the very first Australian Stampin’ Up! catalogue. 💙

It was so much fun looking through those early catalogue pages and seeing how cardmaking styles have changed over the years… and how some design elements never really go out of fashion!

To recreate this design, I reached for products from the Lovely Arrangements Suite, using Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock and Basic Beige to give this classic layout a fresh 2026 twist.

The original card featured a pocket-style design, layered elements and ribbon accents, and I loved the challenge of interpreting it with today’s products while still keeping the spirit of the original.

The original was in Certainly Celery and Bashful Blue. Who remembers these colours?

Which version do you prefer, the original from 20 years ago or my updated take? I’d love to know! 😊

🕰️ Dust off your crafting memories and as Kylie suggested let’s step back in time with me tonight at 7.30pm!

We’re heading back almost 20 years to revisit one of the first Stampin’ Up! catalogue cards that caught my eye. It will be fun to see how those early designs still inspire us today and how a few modern touches can give them a fresh look.

I’ll also be sharing those little technique books I mentioned last week, so there will be plenty of crafty nostalgia and inspiration along the way.

Whether you’ve been stamping for years or are newer to papercrafting, I’d love you to join me for a fun trip down memory lane.

See you live at 7.30pm! 😊

Today marks my 17th Anniversary with Stampin’ Up! 💕

What an incredible journey it has been. Over the years I’ve had the joy of creating, teaching, learning, and most importantly connecting with so many wonderful like-minded people. The friendships I’ve made along the way are something I will always treasure. 💛

Stampin’ Up! has been such an amazing part of my life, and while I’ve seen many changes over the years, I’ve always enjoyed adapting and growing alongside them. Creativity has a wonderful way of bringing people together, no matter how much things evolve.

To celebrate, over the next couple of weeks I’m going to share a few little “blasts from the past” from my time with Stampin’ Up! ✨

On my live Monday night at 7.30pm, I chatted about the technique booklets we used to receive in our orders. I’ve shared a photo of a few of them here, along with the very first catalogue I ever received! This catalogue is from 20 years ago, as Stampin’ Up! celebrates 20 years in the South Pacific this year.

One of those old technique booklets even features the Rock & Roll technique I used on my recent card, so I’ll be showing that in more detail on my live too. Who remembers these booklets or still has them?

Stay tuned for more fun memories and blasts from the past 💕

Tonight’s card was created with the beautiful Valley in Bloom suite and I just love how fresh and elegant these colours look together 💚🩵💜

I combined Coastal Cabana, Blackberry Bliss and Granny Apple Green for a bright floral feel, with lots of layers, texture and dimension. The embossed background and patterned paper worked perfectly together and those sweet little blooms finished it all off beautifully.

And yes… I also brought back an old technique on tonight’s live 😊 Always fun revisiting something from years ago and giving it a fresh new look.

Hope you love this one as much as I do 💕

Tonight’s Live Crafting Session

I’ll be live tonight at 7.30pm creating with the beautiful Valley in Bloom Suite and I can’t wait to share this one with you 💛

I’ll be making a card using some really lovely techniques, sharing little tips along the way, and I was also reminded of an old technique that deserves a comeback… so we’ll be bringing that into tonight’s project too ✨

If you enjoy creative ideas, pretty paper and a relaxed crafty chat, come join me while I create live for you.
See you tonight at 7.30pm 🥰

Tonight’s live was all about trying a “new to me” technique… and I have to say, I was pretty happy with how it turned out! 💕

I embossed my cardstock, coloured the debossed side with blends, then swiped my Secret Sea ink pad across the surface to create this dramatic background effect. Such a fun technique and every piece turns out a little different!

To finish the card, I layered the panel onto white then Secret Sea DSP and embossed the white background with the very same embossing folder for extra texture and detail.

Colours used:
✨ Secret Sea
✨ Daffodil Delight
✨ Pool Party
✨ Granny Apple Green
✨ Garden Green

I’d love to know… have you tried this technique before or will you try it now you’ve see it? 😊
