Reintroducing – Joshua Zarb ✨

Josh has over 28 years’ experience supporting Australian independent jewellery businesses at every level. Previously holding roles in Retail Management, Store Management in one of Australia’s major jewellery chains, General Management and Group General Management. He has served as a past director and vice president of the Jewellers Association of Australia (JAA) and holds an honours degree in statistics.

This unique love for numbers combined with a genuine love of people and business makes him a driven and passionate advocate for business owners. Simply put, Josh is the heart and soul driving IJC at every level. When Josh isn’t working or home with the family, his favourite place to be is out on a boat fishing the day away.

As our resident miracle worker, social media star, and technology wizard, Senthil brings with him over two decades of senior IT experience. His financial orientated business systems and business intelligence remains in wide use all round Australia.

Bringing with him a can-do, will-do, this-is-how-to attitude, no job is too small or unworthy of his eagle eye attention. When “offline”, Senthil is also a keen gardener and an avid cyclist.

Google has changed the rules on reviews … and a lot of common practices are now at risk of being flagged.

We’re talking:
❌ Incentivised reviews
❌ Only asking happy customers (review gating)
❌ Sudden big spikes of reviews over short periods

Google is on the lookout for certain behaviours that it will treat as suspicious. So if your reviews are coming in all at once . . . That just may upset the Google Overlords.

What Google wants is simple:
✔️ Real customer experiences
✔️ Consistent, steady reviews over time
✔️ No pressure, no incentives
