Some of our popular larger bush floral wreaths, abundant and full of little surprises when you look closely. If a wreath is a popular design, I will create a new one in its likeness when it sells, but as you can see in these photos, no 2 wreaths are ever the same. I am working with natural bush botanicals and each day and week I am finding new beautiful Australian native and protea coming into flower. Also new dried material is becoming ready to use and it also reflects the day and week it was picked. We are seasonal and we are so lucky to have a constant supply of new flowers coming through every season. So, each wreath, even if created only days apart has its own unique recipe. Yes, I do plan the bigger ingredients like the banksias and the protea but all the supporting foliages and flowers are decided on that day and I love discovering new treasures to add from my walks and from my dried bunches coming down. One of my favourites is adding some dried Isopogan flowers, that were picked early just before the flower fully opened, because they have a gorgeous spiral shape and when picked at this stage, they hold their structure brilliantly when dried. Through years of trials we are learning a lot about our natives and their aptitude for drying.
