Well, that’s a wrap! 🐝🦋🪲

What a weekend at the in Woodend, Victoria!

It was so much fun celebrating all things insects (and plenty of other fascinating, creepy-crawly things) with such a wonderful bunch of people.

I got to chat with entomologists, artists, educators, fellow critter lovers and curious visitors, and loved meeting so many of you who stopped by to say hello and check out the Meekz collection.

It was especially lovely seeing so many Meekz pieces find new homes. I hope they bring you just as much joy as they’ve brought me making them.

Thank you to for being an amazing room mate, helping me organise the trip and all the laughs. .araellen thank you for being a fantastic neighbour and keeping me awake haha.

And of course, a big shoutout to Jesse, Bert and the whole team for creating such a fabulous event. It was a brilliant weekend full of amazing people, incredible insects and plenty of inspiration.

I'm already looking forward to doing it all again next year!

🦋 THIS WEEKEND! 🐛

I’m heading down to Woodend, Victoria for the 2026 National Insect Expo — Australia’s largest insect event! 🪲✨

And of course, I’ll be bringing along all my favourite insect-inspired jewellery, including butterflies, moths, beetles and plenty of other creepy-crawly creations.

I’ll also have some brand new designs making their first appearance 👀 — so if you’re a fellow insect lover, this is definitely one to come and check out!

The expo is packed with incredible artists, educators, live displays, activities and even a butterfly house!
