A special Mother’s Day celebration at Day’s Mill 🌸
Murchison’s historic Day Mill will open its doors for its annual free Mother’s Day community celebration on Sunday, May 10.
Volunteers from the Friends of Days Mill, alongside Parks Victoria staff, will come together to celebrate mums and honour the legacy of pioneering businesswoman Ann Day, who ran the flour mill while raising seven children in the late 1800s.
Visitors can enjoy a unique glimpse into Victoria’s past, exploring heritage farm buildings from the 1860s and one of the finest surviving examples of traditional stone milling technology.
A meaningful way to spend Mother’s Day, steeped in history and community spirit. 💙
