My loom journey all started with a Starburst bracelet! It was January 2014 and i had been bitten by the loom bug along with my 3 sisters. They all started out doing fishtails, the easiest bracelet to make, while i had jumped on YouTube and decided to be different and make a bracelet from one of the tutorials. I was browsing through when i stumbled upon the starburst bracelet. It looked pretty cool
and i decided to give it a go, but little did i know that the Starburst bracelet was the hardest bracelet to make at the time. An hour later, and i had finally finished! A week later and my sisters had moved on, but i was still going strong and by then i had moved onto harder things. I had started to make multi layered bracelets, animals and even an R2D2 that was about the size of my hand. It was September of 2014 when i found Courtney Nicole's channel and her How to Train Your Dragon video tutorials. It wasn't until September 2015. when my cousins from England came over for a year, that i would have ever dreamed anything could come from my crazy loom obsession, but by then i had made 37 different dragons with the help of Courtney's channel. My cousins were only just getting into looming themselves and when i showed them my dragons their eyes bulged out of their heads! They immediately requested for me to make them each a dragon. They later took them in to show their friends at school, and after that all of their friends were wanting me to make them dragons too! I was so proud and it really inspired me! And thus How to Adopt Your Dragon was born! All dragons are handmade by me with the aid of the videos from Courtney Nicloe's YouTube channel where i have her full permission to duplicate her designs. Some designs are of my own creation. Any questions or purchasing enquiries please contact [email protected]
