🩵 THANK YOU 🩵 let me straight off the bat say I will fail to put into words how unbelievably grateful I am to you all! I’m still over the moon, and very much in shock about how last night’s Christmas bauble release went!
I had no idea what to expect, it was my first ever as a painter, as an ‘artist’, my first collection in the new direction/expansion I’d been dreaming of for this business, my first collection back after the very tough few years I’ve had dealing with health issues. I was so in love with what I’d created, but absolutely daunted by how it could all go, how maybe I’d missed the boat and it wasn’t going to be possible to revive things here. How maybe people would only love my earrings.
There’s a part of me that instantly broke out into tears last night when the sales started coming in, let alone to only have 3 baubles left. The little girl inside who always was told she should be an artist, but always thought that was a pipe dream, not even in the realm of possibilities. Sure, I’ve had an incredible time making wearable art earrings for years, but painting was always different for me… it’s the home that little girl stays alive in, where she dreams, where she believes in magic ✨ Last night, her dreams became reality, in a way I’d never have believed if you’d told me that years ago!
I’m failing to express it, but truly, there are no words to describe the feeling of people believing in you, in your art, your heart, what you create. It means EVERYTHING to me to have that, more than you’ll ever know 🙏🩷 Art is expression for me, it’s connection, it’s pure vulnerability and realness, there’s no hiding who you are, you’re on full display at the judgement of others. I still sit here writing this in disbelief for the sheer amount of support, love, encouragement for me and what I do, for the connections you guys have with what I create, enough to want to wear them, want them in your homes, and this Christmas, on your trees!
You’ve given me and a little girl so much belief in themselves and hope for everything they hope to achieve in their life and with this business! THANK YOU! And I cannot wait to keep painting… there’s so much to come! 🙏🥰🩵💕✨
