🐾 Owner Update – Lord Earl Grey & Lady Camomile 🐾
Over the past few weeks I’ve been a little quieter than usual on social media. As many of you know, my father passed away suddenly, and it has been a difficult time for our family. I want to thank everyone for their patience, understanding, and kind messages.
One of the things that always lifts my spirits is receiving updates from SBS Cats families, and this beautiful message arrived recently ❤️
Lord Earl Grey and Lady Camomile are now enjoying life together in what their owners describe as a perfect mix of calm and chaos. They spend their days chasing each other around the house, taking turns being the hunter and the hunted, before curling up together for a nap in the very same bed.
They groom each other, call out when they find themselves in different parts of the house, sleep together at night, and happily share meals side by side (although it seems Lady Camomile may have claimed a slightly larger share of the food bowl! 😹).
When Lady Camomile first joined the family, there were some understandable concerns about how Earl would adjust to a younger companion. Seeing them now, inseparable and completely devoted to one another, is exactly why we encourage families to consider a second British Shorthair when the timing is right.
As breeders, there is no greater compliment than hearing:
“We are so glad we came back to you for our second British Shorthair. We love them both dearly and our home is now complete.”
