What a lovely thing to say to someone!

I wrote it down in my notes straight away, so I wouldn’t forget her words.

It’s such a wonderful and timely reminder to me, and all creatives really, that what we create matters.

It matters to people.

It matters to us as creatives.

We have a purpose. And that is to bring joy, beauty, awe and wonder to this world.

I have been struggling the last couple months with what to do...

Do I keep making despite material cost increases, despite the uncertainty of sales and whether what I make is actually what people want?

I wanted to share this beautiful comment, because maybe you are struggling with your creative endeavours too.

Keep creating.

The world needs our art, our creations, whatever it is that you are driven to make.

I hope these words can encourage you like they encouraged me.

My longest standing design is the Scribble Earrings. ✨

I came up with this design just playing around and experimenting with wire while I was still studying back in 2010. I never thought it would sell as well as it has.

Sometimes I wonder if I could find time to go through all of my records to see if I can work out how many pairs I’ve actually made over the last 15+ years. Hundreds at least!

Every single pair handmade in small batches, by my hands. ✨

It’s been a full January, but a good one. 💖

My kids only have one week left of holidays now, so we’ve been away this week. It’s been so nice to just chill out by the beach and play board games, nothing else to do. Just bliss. 😌

I’ll be back in the studio this coming Friday & Saturday, then back to some regular days the following week. ✨

Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas and New Year for 2026. ✨

It all means so much to me. 💕

It’s been a busy time for me, personally, with extra family celebrations, time away, working a second job and the kids on school holidays.

I will be in the studio for limited days over January, but feel free to check in with me if you want to know what days. I’ll try to post on stories when I’m there.

In the meantime, my Online Shop is open and all designs that are available are Ready-to-Ship.

There may be slightly longer turn around times for me to get your order ready, but let me know if it’s urgent.
