Some gorgeous silver (and pearls) for this

✨ Beautiful sterling silver watch fob with a rose gold wash and length of silver chain. It has clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1898 with the makers mark G.L for G Loveridge & Co of Spenser St, Birmingham. The watch fob has blank cartouche on both sides, its original hallmarked jumpring and a length of chain with the lion passant stamp. If you would rather wear the fob without the chain I can remove it for you.

✨ Beautiful sterling silver vesta case hallmarked Birmingham 1911 with the makers mark WHH for the famous silverware makers William Hair Haseler of Vyse St Birmingham. Beautiful sterling silver vesta case hallmarked Birmingham 1911 with the makers mark WHH for the famous silverware makers William Hair Haseler of Vyse St Birmingham. It is in great antique condition with beautiful flourish engraving and would look fabulous hanging from a chain as a unique and unusual locket or pendant. The spring loaded hinged lid closes well with a snap.

✨ Contemporary creamy white pearls with a round sterling silver spring clasp. The clasp easily opens so that you can add your own favourite charms or pendants making it a truly versatile and beautiful piece of jewellery.
The necklace can be worn with the clasp at the back for a luxe, classic look or the clasp with pendants can be worn at the front for a totally different look to complement different necklines.

I was excited to find this Australian vintage Handley 9ct gold fill locket and chain on its original presentation card.

J Handley was an important manufacturer in the history of Australian jewellery and horology. Founded by John William Handley in the 1920’s, the brand operated as a premier manufacturing jeweller and the country’s dominant watch case maker from the early 20th century until the late 1980s.

The company were originally located in Elizabeth St in Melbourne but after a brief business partnership with Mr Tilley, Handley moved to its own large purpose built factory at 655 Victoria St, Abbotsford, right near the famous “Skipping Girl Vinegar” sign.

At its peak Handley was one of the largest watch case manufacturers in the Southern Hemisphere. Major Swiss watch makers such as Rolex, Tissot, Omega and Tudor trusted Handley to produce their gold and gold fill watch cases for the Australian market.

During WW2 the Handley factory was commandeered and the company produced vital precision military hardware. After the war they returned to jewellery and watch case production until the company’s demise in 1987. The opening of global trade and the reduction of tariffs meant that there was no financial benefit of watch casing locally. The historic factory still remains and has been converted into apartments.

This is a gorgeous necklace with important ties to Australian jewellery history. It is in almost mint condition and has inserts for two photos. Available now ✨

Probably one of the most useful chains you could ever own! 130cm of continental silver with a fancy trombone style link and a very useful Albert clip clasp. This lovely example’s design aesthetic suggests Continental Europe origins from the late 1900’s or early 20th century.

These type of chains were worn to “guard” special items such as pocket watches, glasses or keys and preventing them from being lost or stolen. They were also used to hold a m**f or hand warmer round the neck or as a piece of jewellery by hanging lockets or charms to the clip.

Super versatile, the chain can be wrapped twice round the neck to create a versatile and beautiful chain to showcase your favourite pendants or lockets. I have one in gold fill and I absolutely love it! It is so easy to wear and the perfect layering piece.

This gorgeous guess chain is in great condition and is available now online. Please dm me if you have any questions and pop@over to stories to see a fabulous video on how you can wear one of these long antique chains.

This take a look at this gorgeous sterling silver locket. The front features a high relief repousse design of a wild rose surrounded by leaves and buds. and the inside is clean ready to take your favourite photos. The hinge has been professionally serviced and opens and shuts easily. The locket is stamped sterling silver on the back suggesting it is American and has the makers mark EC.

Repousse is the technique of hammering the silver from the reverse side to create a 3 dimensional, raised effect. From the French word for “pushed back,” this technique creates intricate, detailed, and textured relief designs often seen in jewellery, art, and silverware.

A gorgeous and unique locket is excellent condition.
