Yesterday was one of those market days that reminded me why I love doing this so much. 🥹🌹

Not just because of the earrings, the candles, the pretty little stall setup or the sales…

But because of the people. ❤️

My bestie Gabi, her hubby Lui and her gorgeous girl Annabeth surprised me by coming up from Jervis Bay to see me at the market and honestly… they absolutely made my day! 🥹❤️

Then we had a beautiful returning customer come by who I remembered from one of our very first Shell Cove markets. She bought SO much that day 😂 and yesterday she came back to visit us again, picked up more goodies from Rachel’s candles and even grabbed a pair of our Christmas wreath earrings because she loves my earrings. 🥹

We had such a lovely chat — especially because she also lives out my way in the Hills District — and then she told us she’ll be coming to see us again at our Christmas market at Hawkesbury next month! 🎄🌹

And that’s honestly one of my favourite things about markets…

The familiar faces.

The returning customers.

The friends and family who surprise you.

The colleagues who pop in.

The people who stop for a chat.

The stories and connections that happen across a little market stall.

Every visit, every purchase, every kind word and every “I’ll see you at the next one” means more than you probably realise. ❤️

It’s the support of all of you that makes getting up, setting up and showing up absolutely worth it.

So from me, Rachel, Sue and our little market crew…

🌹 WELL, HELLO STRANGERS! IT’S BEEN A MINUTE! 🌹

Soooo… I’ve been a little quiet around here lately. And by a little quiet, I mean practically fallen off the face of the earth! 🫠😂

I’ll be completely honest, I’ve needed a little time to reignite my spark again. ❤️

Sometimes, when things don’t quite pan out the way you hoped or expected, it’s easy to lose a little bit of that spark along the way.

And somewhere along the way, my creative mojo decided to take a little holiday of its own! 😂

But I’ve missed my little creative space, I’ve missed making pretty things, and I’ve certainly missed sharing all the little behind-the-scenes bits and pieces with you.

So, I’m dusting myself off and getting ready to jump back in!

I’ve got Halloween creations brewing, Christmas ideas swirling around in my head, and plenty of things up my sleeve as I head towards the end of my very first year of Wild Rose. 🥹❤️

I’m not promising to have it all together (because let’s be realistic, when do I ever?! 😂), but I am ready to give this little dream of mine some love again.

A little behind-the-scenes look at a recent order ✏️💛

Three pairs of my yellow pencil dangles, each individually finished, carded and gift boxed — ready to be given to some very special teachers.

I honestly love this part of making your orders. Seeing the pieces go from a little pile of handmade components to something that’s ready to be wrapped, gifted and hopefully make someone smile. 🥹

And teacher gifts don’t have to be huge to be meaningful. Sometimes it’s just a little something to say…

🍷🍇 POKOLBIN MARKETS — 8AM TODAY! 🛍️🌹

Why am I ALWAYS at my most productive and creative the night before a market… when I should absolutely be resting up for the long drive and big day ahead?! 😂🤦‍♀️

Of course, I couldn’t help myself and squeezed in a very small batch of Halloween goodies last night… because apparently sleep is optional when there are ideas bouncing around in my head! 😂🎃

And my studio desk is totally trashed and will remain that way until at least Monday when I am home, well rested and have the energy to tackle it… 🫠🤣

BUT HOW ABOUT THESE LITTLE CUTIES?! 🥹🐶🌹

I thought Pig & Trevor had claimed the title of my favourite four-legged creations… but these little guys might just have stolen it! 😍

And I already have SO many ideas for them! 👀
