A massive day for the stable with a great team of runners heading out across the country:
Royal Randwick Racecourse:
Race 8: Verona Rose has freshened up for the $2million Invitation against her own s*x over 1400. She has been racing in great form once again this preparation and deserves her place against the best mares in the country.
Race 10: Encap drops back in grade now fourth up in the Filante Handicap over the Randwick mile. He's impossible to catch but on a firm track he is more than capable of winning this race if things go his way.
Kembla Grange Racecourse:
Race 1: Reine De Cristal is second up in the 1200 maiden. She was a little close to a hot speed and got tired first up but she can improve significantly. She's worth a watch with a view to longer race this preparation.
Eagle Farm Brisbane Racing Club:
Race 1: Sejata has headed north for the two-year-old race, now over 1000. It's been a very wet week in Queensland but we are expecting a drying track with the meeting now moved to Eagle Farm. Our boy has had two good Sydney trials which will hold him in good stead for his debut.
Best of luck to all connections!
