Arone • An 18k champagne gold earring set with salt & pepper diamonds from the Mute collection.

This piece questions our relationship with preciousness. A natural white gold alloy, usually hidden and covered by a white rhodium layer, is now celebrated for its true color. It reminds me of the tones of the rocks in the cove where I spent so much time as a child.
The salt & pepper diamonds are diamonds with impurities, giving them their authentic, unique appearance. They evoke the crystallized sea salt on the rocks.

Closure of a beautiful chapter: One month ago, I was working in my jewellery studio for the last time.

I have spent three years evolving in this cocoon, in the middle of shared artistic workshops. Three years meeting new people, discovering other worlds, creating and building stories through jewellery.

This place brought me a lot. Without noticing, I was shaping my universe ever stronger.

This place was not only a workspace. For both my customers and I, it became mostly a shelter where our emotions were expressed in total freedom.

Recently I was less often online, I was busy moving and reshaping my new location. I may look a bit emotional on this video, but this is not the end of my career, it is just a new era.

I’m a bit hesitant to share about my personal life, but considering how it affects my work and every single part of me, it seems right to tell you that these last years were tough and have led to a divorce.

My atelier is brought back in my own appartment, in the city center of Antwerp, where I have dedicated a full room to my customers. I have no idea what the future is made of but I will definitely focus on my own activity. My dream which came true.

The Mud models thin and thick together in 18-carat gold. Floating and standing straight in this white sugar topping.

These rings are sending me back to 2022 when I first designed them. I was not sure about how it was gonna look and I remembered being scared of the result. They are now my all time favourite and I have been adapting them so many times with some slight changes according to your demands.

What will I do next?

Today at until 18:00, we are opening the doors of our shared atelier and are exhibiting our work.

For me it is the end of a chapter, but also the beginning of a new one. After 3 years working in this lovely and crafty space, I am relocating my workshop more in the city center in Antwerp. I’ll keep you posted really soon!

White diamonds on white gold. D surprised her with a selection of the Nor model together with the Ode one. Slightly curved, subtile sparks on each side of the two main diamonds and the texture from a dried aloe vera. 🦋

Alga, a non conventional loop in 18k gold set with natural diamonds. Black rhodium covering preciousness. Salt & pepper diamonds sparkling partly, reminding the salted rocks from the black cove of my childhood memory.
