Uwe Porters schreef een zinderende roman. Toen ze me vroeg om er een juweel rond te ontwerpen, was ik meteen verkocht.

We hadden hoge verwachtingen. En wat bleek? Die waren te bescheiden.

A. vroeg zijn vriend ten huwelijk met een ketting die hij al jaren rond zijn hals droeg รฉn met het goud van zijn grootoudersโ€™ trouwringen.
We splitsten de ketting op in twee armbanden, elk met een strak plaatje met HUN datum in gegraveerd. Alle extra onderdelen die nodig waren voor het ontwerp, smeedde ik uit het oude goud.

Generaties vol liefde, opnieuw vormgegeven.
Een verlovingsjuweel dat niet alleen mooi is, maar รฉcht klopt.
