This is one of my personal favourite pairs that I ever made.
I made them last month and they were in my August sale. They are 1 of 2 pairs that are left from last month that didn’t sell.
Sometimes I think “ooohhh this is a good one” and you all are like “meh.” lol
Funny tho hey? I find I never know what will sell. But, experimenting and having fun with it is what keeps me loving what I do so I might make more like this anyway. Hehe.
But, anyone got any guidance on what you’d like to see more of? Anything I should bring back? Any colour combinations that you love? Bigger, smaller? Sets? Don’t say brooches tho. lol
But if you like these they are on my website. They are 3D. I picked the flowers on the side of the road with my daughter yelling at me that I was being embarrassing, I fell inna ditch (lol) and then came home and dried them in powdered silicone for a couple weeks and then carefully painted the individual flowers with like 8 layers of resin…. Then sanded the backs of the flowers flat and then made clusters that I painted together with a bunch of more layers of resin …. Then attached to this antler that I cut sideways to get an extra big slice cause I LOVE this cream colour antler. Anyway, that was my all excited process. lol. It’s not lost of course…. That’s not at all what I’m saying but, it’s just so mismatched with how I thought they might be received. I’m making it sound like I had big headed expectations but, really I’m just saying that I loved the process and thought they were so cool and they hit my website and went WAHHHH-WAHhhh-whaaaaa. lol
But, jokes and silliness aside, you all are the reason I have the ability to turn my excitement for making things into food and roof and Christmas and shoes for my family. I hope and wish that this could keep going so good and maybe my kids can take more of a role in my little business….. maybe we can help pass on the benefits of sales to hunters and people who want to sell or trade materials …. Certainly we can spread the love for crafting and carving and salvaging and being creative.
