I’ve been waiting to share this Autumn oak leaf necklace on an especially fall feeling day and today is it! I’ve been watching the leaves blow off the trees every time the wind picks up and it’s really pretty even though it’s cold and windy. 🍂

This necklace is one of a kind, handmade from solid sterling silver and features oak leaves, tiny acorns and a pretty glittery goldstone cabochon. Goldstone is actually a manmade “gem” that gets its super sparkle from tiny copper flecks, I love how it sparkles like crazy in the sunlight! ✨☀️✨

As the garden starts to wind down I’m collecting seeds, planting bulbs, cleaning up, soaking it all in. This time of year has its own kind of beauty, and I like to notice all the little changes taking place as the seasons change.

This garden vignette pendant is like a collection of some of my favourite things about summer - fresh flowers, berries and an abundance of things growing! I want to capture the feeling of summer and keep it preserved in sterling silver, a little reminder to take with you everywhere you go. 🌱

I recently finished this extra special commission for a friend who has never worn a piece of jewellery in her life! I was so excited for them both when I was asked to make a custom engagement ring by her soon-to-be fiancé. 😀

She wasn’t interested in a diamond but wanted something simple and meaningful. The three strands of gold in this ring represent the strength of a couple whose lives are intertwined with God, inspired by the Bible verse found in Ecclesiastes 4:12 “a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.” ❤️

I always have a hard time letting go of summer, but autumn makes it a little easier! 🍂I love the changing leaves and all the beautiful colours.

These one of a kind earrings are made from the texture of a real leaf from my garden. I love that you can still see all the tiny details captured in the sterling silver. I added two little freshwater pearls to make these earrings extra pretty. ✨ They’re like a little piece of autumn to carry with you, even after the leaves have fallen!

A little glimpse into the hours behind one little pendant!

There are so many tiny steps that go into making a one of a kind piece like this. Some take just a few minutes, and some take a lot of patience and careful attention.

But I love the process. The cutting and shaping, figuring out how all the little pieces will fit together, refining the details, and slowly watching the idea become an actual piece of jewellery.

This sterling silver pendant was a custom piece and has already found its home, but I thought it would be fun to share a little of the journey that went into making it!

Now that the kids are back in school, I’m happily getting back into a regular studio routine. There’s something really nice about having long stretches of quiet time to sit down and make things again!

I’ve been working away on adding to my website some new pieces for fall, including these little pod shaped hoops. They’re made from sterling silver with two freshwater pearls. I love how simple and elegant they look from the front, with that little surprise of the pod shape when you see them from the side.

I also have a smaller version with black pearls and both styles are now in the online shop. 🌿✨🌱

Brainstorming new ideas…

Thumbnail sketches are one of my favourite parts of designing new pieces. Most wont get turned into jewellery but it’s fun to play with gems and my silver components and see what I can come up with! I already have my favourites, but I’m curious if any stand out to you?

These show stopping earrings have been up on my website for a bit and I somehow forgot to post to Instagram. They are one of a kind, handmade in solid sterling silver each with a white freshwater pearl. I also created a matching pendant if your into matchy- matchy 😁

I just finished another custom piece, and I’m so happy with how it turned out!

She fell in love with my original Cedar Arch necklace, but wanted to incorporate a turquoise gemstone to represent water. I suggested adding the pebble “beach” and together we came up with this one of a kind pendant. 😁

I love collaborating with clients to bring special ideas like this to life. This necklace is more than jewellery, it’s a wearable piece of art with its own unique story. 🌿

The forget me nots are in bloom in my garden ❤️ so of course I had to do a little photoshoot with the inspiration!

I’ve just restocked my website with the pendant, stud earrings and dangle earrings in sterling silver. I also have one pair of 14k yellow gold dangle earrings ready to ship 🌸 ✨
