It has long been my dream to use the other side of my brain, the one that is opposite
to the accountant's side - the creative side. I made jewelry when my children were young, over two decades ago. I have wanted to learn to make the glass beads I was buying then. Over the last 5 years I did learn and in the last 6 months, especially, I have been learning and creating in earnest.

ere difficult years with my health, so sitting in front of the flame and losing myself in melting glass has been wonderful therapy. On this page are some of my creations. I also have others on display at Gossamer Treasures Gallery and Gifts in Wabamun, Alberta. I use high quality components to complete my pieces - sterling silver, Swarovski crystals and semi-precious stones. Each piece can be re-created, but not always exactly, as a set of beads made at the torch in one session may turn out a little different than the previous set. I love to learn new techniques and have taken classes from accomplished glass artists. I also work with sterling silver and copper wire to create links and complimentary design elements in my jewelry. To further my knowledge in metal working, I took a jewelry class at The Alberta University of the Arts in the winter of 2019. Please message me if you are interested in purchasing a piece.
