Over the last few months I'd taken a much needed break from my production schedule and time in the studio. Burnout and creative fatigue are real. I've met them both in the recent years and after some resistance I came to realize they need to be welcomed and given space. Having no other choice but to slow down I was able to - link by link, and knot by knot - reinhabit my practice through this collection. The nature of making chain by hand and knotting beads is slow. And kind. Little by little I have been able to emerge inspired and in love with jewelry making again! This collection is available at the in Calgary until Nov 2. Opening reception Oct 5th from 2-4pm!
