Copper Jewelry, made from hand-me-down flat copper sheets and stripped electrical wire, with hand-stamped patterns and hand-made findings, polished and tarnish protected. It was so satisfying watching this go from what some people would consider “junk” to something beautiful. DM me if you’d like a pair!

I always thought it was appropriate to use rose designs on quilled art since we use their emergence as a signal that birch bark is ready for harvest, and quilling on birch bark is truly like nothing else. Nothing else has the balance between strength and flexibility like birch bark does. As you pull the quills through the holes, they expand slightly, producing a tight fit that keeps them stable and secure. Miigwech for the teachings from wiigwaas.
