One of the perks of my job is that I get to make an impact and inspire other young people like me.
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to speak to a Financial Literacy 10 class at Centennial Collegiate in Saskatoon about my journey building Chic & Charmed Boutique.
I shared how I started selling jewelry at 13, officially launched my business at 14, and have continued growing it while balancing being a full-time high school student. We talked about the realities of entrepreneurship, financial decisions, challenges, mistakes, opportunities, travelling for trade shows, and some of the lessons I’ve learned along the way.
Being able to take what I’ve learned through my own experiences and share it with other students is something I’m incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to do.
