We’ve all been there: outfit is 10/10, you reach for your favorite pair of earrings to finish the look… and tarnish has completely taken over 😣

When it comes to sterling silver, being proactive is SO much easier than being reactive. To prove it, I ran a little experiment on my desk. I left a pair of silver hoops, one sitting out exposed to the air, and the other one inside a tiny sealed plastic pouch.

The difference speaks for itself!

Silver naturally reacts to oxygen and moisture in the air. Slipping your jewelry into a simple air-tight bag takes 5 seconds, but it saves you from last-minute polishing panics when you’re already running late.

Fun fact: When I was living in Singapore, this was my absolute lifeline for fresh tortillas! I could find corn flour, but ready-made tortillas were not so easy to get, that's why I had to press and make them right at home. So yes, a tortilla press definitely works! 🌽💛
