Engravings are designs made with sharp tools and lasers, physically carving deep grooves and impressions into pieces; Etching is a chemical process - acid cuts into the surface of metals, leaving behind stunning prints and designs in jewellery.

Here, our customer wanted their antique brooch redesigned into a convenient piece of jewellery that can be worn any day. This custom ring features the natural, untreated Colombian Emerald encircled with diamonds. The reused diamonds wrap the platinum band. With the stones refashioned into the ring band, their integrity is maintained, their value is highlighted, and the Emerald stone takes centre stage.
