OUR HISTORY
The team was first started by Suzanne Corupe (coach) and Laurel Nolan (manager) in the fall of 2007, to bring skating friends together again as a synchro team who skate for the sheer love, fitness and enjoyment of the sport. That year, the University Skating Club of Toronto were also beginning a new masters team, and needed a coach and manager - so we joined forces! In the fall of 200
8, the team moved their practices to the Cassie Campbell Community Centre. The team skated out of SCBC for three years, where we were known as Gold & Glamorous and then Gold & Gutsy. We now Team Prestige and have a new home: the Pine Point Figure Skating Club. The club has been established in 1963, the Pine Point Figure Skating Club has been serving the community for over 40 years. We are a non-profit organization run by volunteers and are sanctioned by Skate Canada. Read what Skate Canada has to say: http://www.skatecanada.ca/en-us/programs/synchroskate.aspx
