Thank you so much to all the new and familiar faces who came to check out my little creative space! It’s been so nice welcoming you in, chatting with you, and sharing a little piece of my world with you!!! 

A big thank you as well to everyone who worked so hard to make this tour happen! So much goes into organizing something like this, and I feel really lucky to be part of such an amazing community👏🏻🤩

Last day is tomorrow, and I really hope to see some of you!

I’m feeling extra grateful for this whole Gypsea adventure. For all the new amazing people I’ve met because of it, all the support from my friends and family, and all the love I’ve received from you guys. I’m Rachel 🙋🏻‍♀️

Mom of 3 boys, wife, French Canadian, dog mom, bead collector and self-taught jewelry artist!!

Gypsea was never really planned. It kind of started after my contract with GIRO ended, when I was looking for something I could build for myself while still being home for my family.

My mother-in-law gave me a bunch of beads from a past passion of hers, and I started playing around with them. Mixing colours, textures, taking things apart and trying again… until I slowly started finding my style and realizing how much I loved creating.

We’ve been on Gabriola Island for 4 years now, and I feel pretty lucky to call this place home. The ocean, the beaches, the forest and all the little treasures I find along the way inspire so much of what I make. 🌿🌊

Rylan, my boys, Gypsy and Adam coming with me to markets are all part of this little Gypsea adventure too. 🤍

I’m still figuring it all out as I go, but I’m so grateful this unexpected little adventure found me. 🥰
