New Pattern Release! Muskox! 🖤

Well, this one took me out of my comfort zone! 🤣

A customer from Alaska who's purchased lots of my patterns and has been so supportive of my little business, suggested a muskox. I thought, why not give it a try?

Then I discovered the challenge: how do you turn a big, shaggy, brown-and-black blob into a recognizable beaded design? 😂

There was a lot of figuring things out along the way, but I'm pretty happy with how this northern fellow turned out!

Having spent 20 years living in the Northwest Territories before moving to PEI, I have a real appreciation for northern wildlife, so I'm especially pleased to add this one to my growing collection of brick stitch fringe earring patterns.

A big thank-you to my Alaskan beading friend for the inspiration and continued support. ❤️

Murder of Crows

A group of crows is called a murder, which may be one of the most unnecessarily dramatic names in the bird world. 😂

But honestly, I think it suits them. Crows are clever, curious, social, and just a little bit mysterious—and I had fun capturing that character in this black-and-grey design.
