Disappeared for a month from posting 💃🕺but now I back ☺️ thank you once again for everyone that joined my birthday giveaway 💕

This month has been a busy but also restful month, to recharge after the flash sale, with gardening, music, crocheting, and even cosplaying with friends again (made too many ditto pieces this month that I became officer Jenny 🤣🤓👩🏻‍🌾🤠) Everything was fun and rewarding!🕺

While working and starting some new projects, I am also so grateful and a little proud of myself ☺️ to be featured on TV!!! Thank you so much for having and recognizing my work💕 😭

It’s been a wavy year for me, and it took me quite a bit of time to really settle down and find my peace again within. I learned a lot, about what Kotoba means to me, what making means to me, what my core values are as a maker, and human, and also learned to appreciate all different aspects of craft/design/art to recognize what works best for me. The creative journey is not easy, but last year I think I placed another brick in my heart to build the foundation I needed to keep going. And for that I am very grateful.

To another year ahead, I hope to continue to learn to be a better person, to be kind, be humble, be brave, be honest, be loving, be patient, and believe.

Thank you so much for the all the support this past 3-days. I tried my best to put my feelings into words but I know this is just the tip of the iceberg. 😭💖

I still remember last week, when I looked at the sky knowing that I won’t be able to photograph my pieces in the sun, I thought, “the photos will be terrible, why did I set this date, it is not going to be the same as before, I wasted my time again.”

I was wrong. It wasn’t the sun, but it was me.
I was scared of changes, I was scared of uncertainty.
But the date was set, so i pushed through.

Little did I know, blooming really would not have happened without the rain. This flash sale, felt truly like the blooming process.

From the rain in the beginning, to seeing the sky slowly clear up, to feeling the sun shine in the end. It felt like a movie.

Thank you for being here, thank you for witnessing this growth process with me, thank you for your warm and kind words of encouragement, thank you for the overwhelming and reassuring support.

Thank you so so so so so so soooooo much for seeing value in my work, and all of my new & old pieces.
I am so grateful and I will never take this for granted.

I hope everyone will have fun looking at this pieces as well as a new photo style 🥺🫶🏻 definitely outside of my comfort zone to photograph all the pieces without the sun🌞I was insecure, but this unfamiliarity is part of my growing process also! So it was meant to be, a lesson for me to learn to enjoy, and to be confident in myself and my craft no matter rain or shine.

Life is a never ending journey of learning and growing, with quiet battles and slow steps, may we keep learning to bloom one leaf at a time 🌱🌧️☀️
