Today the beads got away from me. 🍬
I only poured them out to pick a few colors. Then I couldn't stop — pink, mint, apricot, that soft lilac. All of them on the dish at once, like spilled candy.
So I strung them. One at a time, onto gold wire, letting the colors fall where they wanted. No plan. Just beads, light, and a very quiet hour. 💛
A few strands, bent into a teardrop. The tails twisted closed — wire only, no glue, nothing hidden. A pearl on top, one small wrapped loop, a hook. That's all. 🌈
Then I held them up to the window and the whole pair went warm. Glass beads don't just hold color — they hold light. ✨

0.2mm copper wire, a tube, a hook, and a lot of patience. ✨ We start by wrapping the wire around a small cylinder—round and round, until it becomes a coil with layer after layer. Then we separate it, loop by loop, and crochet it into a fan of fine golden threads. 🌸 Around the edge, tiny turquoise beads get hooked in row by row, until petals appear. At the very center, a small cluster of red beads. And there it is—a flower sitting on the finger, as if it grew there. 💚 Same technique as our crochet earrings. Same hands. A new shape. 💛

Gold wire, pastel beads, and a technique we can't rush. ✨ First we strung two rows of beads—soft pinks, milky whites, a hint of blue and butter yellow. Then we pinned them down and laced the gold wire around them: crossing at the front, wrapping every other bead, repeat, repeat, repeat. Slowly a gold net appears, and the beads settle inside it like they were always meant to be there. 🕸️🤍 This is the same design we took to Italy this month. Buyers kept coming back to it—so we're making it again, on camera this time. 🇮🇹 Finished with a gold extender chain and lobster clasp. Light on the wrist, and it lies completely flat. ✨Guess which country this design traveled to this month. 🇮🇹

Aquamarine and pearls—one cube of sea-blue, one small pearl, over and over. 🤍💙 We start from the extender chain and work our way around: irregular freshwater pearls, faceted aquamarine cubes in every shade of water, and a single warm amber bead for a little contrast at the end. Then—a little magic—it's finished. ✨ Aquamarine is March's birthstone. The stone of clear water, calm minds and safe journeys. Same hands, same hook—new beads today. 🧵 We've been beading with seed beads for a while. Today, we switched to bugle beads: long, clear glass tubes with a silvery heart, strung around a fine metal hoop like rays of light. 🤍 First, the beads—one by one, fanning outward around the circle. Then the part we love most: the hook comes out, and we crochet a fine wire border along the outer edge, looping and crossing until every bead is locked in place.
