55 Millimeters of History.
Not reimagined. Reissued.
The Replika 55 is back. ✈️

Faithful to the 1940s original, it features an impressive 55 mm case, a distinctive onion crown, and the classic Type A and Type B dials. Inside, the hand-wound Laco 97 movement, based on the ETA 6497.1, powers the watch. At our manufactory in Pforzheim, it is modified to feature a central seconds hand, individually regulated and carefully tested.

Im Inneren arbeitet das Handaufzugswerk Laco 97 auf Basis des ETA 6497.1. In unserer Manufaktur in Pforzheim wird es auf eine Zentralsekunde umgebaut, individuell reguliert und sorgfältig geprüft.

Pilot watch? Not quite. Pilot? Definitely. ✈️

A pilot watch doesn’t always have to take to the skies. And conversely, there’s no reason why a sports watch can’t aim a little higher. 😉

Nikolaj is the perfect example: For his aerobatic flights, he chose our Himalaya, which is actually part of our sports watch collection. Robust, functional and ready for all kinds of adventures – apparently above the clouds, too. 😎

A big thank you to Nikolaj for these fantastic shots and for proving that it’s not only our pilot watches that can reach new heights. 😉✈️

Historically, pilot watches were known for one thing above all: their big size. Today, things can be a little more compact – as our Stuttgart PRO in 37 mm shows. ✈️

Especially on a male wrist, 37 mm is a rather unusual size for a pilot watch. But as these pictures show, it can work remarkably well. 😉 If you prefer a little more presence on the wrist, the Flieger PRO can also be configured in 40 or 43 mm. In the end, the right size simply comes down to personal preference.
