Vielsesringe!
These can be pretty simple or deeply personal. As the sun comes out and we approach wedding season I welcome you to book a consultation with me (DM or link in bio)

What happens in a consultation?

It is a casual chat with no obligation to buy anything, we sit and have a coffee.
We will measure your fingers for the perfect fit and talk about what your dream rings are which could be very simple and straightforward or more details to tell a story; for example recycling family heirloom gold or take on a design that you love to see every day as a reminder of your love story.
Then you can take your time to decide! Like I said, there is no obligation, I understand it that you will be wanting to shop around and see what is out there 🔎

Happy days ahead 🔗

Blue stuff! Here are examples of rings you can make in the SmykeWorkshops.

What is this blue stuff? wax?
It is a jewellery specific modelling wax that you can carve, shape, melt and form into your unique ring design. It is the exact replica of what it will become in silver.

How does it become silver?
The wax ring goes through a process called lost wax casting. A plaster mould is formed around your wax model, which is then melted out (hence the name lost wax), leaving a cavity in the exact shape of your design. Molten silver is poured into the mould, solidifies, and becomes a precise Silver version of your original wax ring.

In these images I recreated what the silver ring would have looked like before casting when it was in its wax form.
These you can see and handle in the workshop as you learn this ancient technique of jewellery making ✨😄
