The idea of Melina World Jewellery is actually about 5000 years old…

Crafts in gold and silver have been around as long as we have known about these materials. During a visit to the Greek National Museum's exhibition in Athens airport, you will see beautifully crafted glass beads on a string or a silver cord from approximately 3000 years B.C. Such an incredibly beautiful and simple proof of the values we all carry with us have their roots in the ancient world.

What a summer ☀️

As many of you might know, I love travelling around the world. That's how the hashtag came to life. 🌍✨

2006 - 2026 💞

Two decades today (22-6-26) that I signed the papers and registered my Melina World ®️
.. what a journey ...

if you scroll through you'll find the photos sent to Spain, for the registration

my first sales-trip went to the islands Mykonos and Tinos. I had a blast but no income

Back then I was almost the one and only travelling, as a female, to all the Greek islands with a suitcase of designs in one hand and two little ones hand by hand in the other hand

I exchanged my flip-flops to high heels 👠 outside of the jewellery shops only to be kicked out without any sales

I attended all exhibitions, knocked doors, worked 💪 very hard far too many hours until I became "the name" Melina ®️ I was recognised & respected
Long story short the jewellery stores started running to find me...

I was on a beautiful wave when suddenly people I had trusted blindly saw the easy way and stole not only my ideas but everything I hard worked for, so hard

4 summers now, I'm back on the right track 👣 thanks to my close family, loyal friends and true customers

Today I raise my glass to honour you, Thank You.!
