Putting the final touches on the great side quest of mine - a line of perfumes I’ve been building quietly for months whenever I put the hammer down. I’ll be showing them for the first time this Sunday at Copenhagen Occult Club Witch Market

It’s study in landscape and memory. Built from places I love and miss. An experiment in translating atmosphere into scent, trying to bottle the feeling of a place after dark, and letting perfume become a kind of mood‑transportation.

VOID: The Mourne Mountains - Mineral air over cold granite and dark spruce, with a faint resin glow in the black

ASH: Quin Abbey - Centuries of leather bound books, dark timber and devotional incense breathing from the ruins

KARST: The Burren - Ancient limestone, petrichor and the plateau alive with what moves in the dark

IRON: Dublin Docklands - steel cranes, cold concrete, salt wind with a smear of lamplight on wet stone

I’ll have a super limited run of 10 Discovery sets and 6-10 10ml bottles.
I will of course also have my first love, my jewellery with me and would love to talk to you about all things memorial jewelry 🤍

Hi - it’s the end of summer and the start of my favourite time of year 🖤My days lately have been less about finished, curated photos of jewellery and more about the research that sits underneath it; reading up on death and material culture, foraging wild hops and learning what’s actually growing right on my doorstep, getting obsessive about perfume making, and watching videos about traditional Swedish hairwork. I felt like sharing the mess behind the work for once. ✨

There’s a lot of misinformation out there about memorial jewellery. I get it, it’s a niche corner of the industry, and most people are only shopping for it once in their life.

But what you choose to hold your most sentimental materials really determines the longevity of the piece. I understand that the right materials can be costly but better to save and have something that lasts a lifetime than end up with a piece that fails the very thing it was meant to protect.

So here are a few pointers to think about when commissioning your own memorial piece.

I had the pleasure of making these two matching wedding bands for a lovely couple I met this summer. Two Igneous Rigid bands, textured like magma that solidified mid-motion.
I’ve been a little quiet on here lately but am working away all the time in the background mostly on work that’s not ready to be shown yet. Get in touch if you would like to commemorate something through precious metals 🤍

Social media flattens everything to the same size square. A memorial piece beside a wedding band next to someone’s lunch. It’s a bad fit for what jewellery actually is. The craft itself is beautiful and fascinating but the depth of meaning in some of the pieces I get to make is so much so that sometimes I don’t want to document the process. I just want to be in it.
So off I go now, back to the bench, and I’ll leave you with that half finished thought.

▪️DEBRIS EARRINGS: Newly listed on the website and part of the METROPOLIS COLLECTION these earrings consist of small hex nuts with hanging water cast forms similar to exposed aggregate concrete.

Through experimenting with water casting, a method where you pour molten silver straight down into water, I noticed the similarities to that broken, pebble infused concrete texture that I love so much. Each cast is decided by the water, and so each is completely unique. I keep testing until I find forms that suit what I’m trying to say.
Honestly I love letting the material create the design, it’s always much more natural than anything I could carve myself. (Also a great cover story for my carving skills.)
