Nuuk School (Atuarfik Inussuk), Nuuk, Greenland
2026

Nuuk School, also known as Atuarfik Inussuk, is a landmark educational complex designed for 1,200 students and 120 children in daycare.
The architecture of Nuuk's new school does not only provide an optimal setting for learning, it is also designed to make the school a gathering place in the city.

The architectural expression is inspired by the ubiquitous Greenlandic nature. The building's roofs are shaped after the rocky landscape and appear silhouetted against the sky, like the contours of the mountains."

Grunwalds Have, Copenhagen
2024

Grunwalds Have is a housing development at the edge of Østerbro, bringing together 223 compact apartments—including 56 public youth housing units—along with shared facilities and a rehearsal stage for Østre Gasværk Theatre.

The project combines housing and culture, extending the creative environment of the theatre into the everyday life of the residents.
The building forms a sheltered green courtyard that supports social interaction, while its dynamic brickwork and deep window reveals bring daylight into the homes and relate to the surrounding masonry context.

Ceresvej 19, Frederiksberg
2020

Ceresvej 19 is a contemporary family villa located in the heart of Frederiksberg, designed as a modern interpretation of the classic urban villa.

This project represents our commitment to human-centered architecture on a residential scale, demonstrating how a private home can balance intimate family life with bold, aesthetic transformation within a historic neighborhood.

The architectural approach is centered on a series of staggered volumes and large glass sections that dissolve the boundaries between interior and exterior, ensuring a continuous flow of light and space.

Malik swimming pool, Nuuk, Greenland
2003

Malik is the first public swimming hall in Nuuk—marking an important step in providing access to swimming in a context where it is a vital skill.

The building also functions as a an important social space for the local community, supporting swimming, recreation and play, but also social gathering both in the water and in the cafeteria.

The architecture is shaped by the surrounding landscape and climate, with a curved roof structure that protects the building from the elements and opens towards the fjord through large glazed facades.

New Psychiatry Sct. Hans
Roskilde, Denmark, 2021

New Psychiatry Sct. Hans is a specialised psychiatric facility designed for forensic psychiatry, providing a secure and dignified setting for both patients and staff.

The project is shaped to support treatment, recovery, and everyday life—balancing a homely environment for patients with a safe and efficient working setting for staff.

The architecture integrates the surrounding landscape as an essential part of the design. The building itself forms a protective outer edge, enclosing green communal spaces and courtyards—creating a secure environment without a visible, institutional character.

Østerport II
2021, Copenhagen, Denmark

Østerport II is an office and commercial building located at one of Copenhagen’s busiest transport hubs, adjacent to the historic Østerport Station.

The project reinterprets the traditional atrium office by turning it inside out. Circulation is placed along the façade, transforming the corridor into a shared space with views to the city and visual connection between colleagues.

This approach supports everyday interaction while opening the building towards its surroundings—establishing a closer relationship between workplace and city.

Østerport Station
Copenhagen, Denmark, 2019

The renovation of Østerport Station is a careful restoration and modernisation of one of Copenhagen’s key transport hubs.

The project adapts a protected 19th-century building to meet increased passenger flows and contemporary requirements.

The approach builds on Heinrich Wenck’s original National Romantic architecture, restoring key details while integrating new infrastructure and commercial functions. This allows the station to retain its character while supporting present-day use.

AdO Arena
Berge, Norway, 2014

The AdO Arena in Bergen is a world-class aquatic center and Norway’s national elite facility for swimming and diving.
As a high-performance landmark, it represents the intersection of specialized sports infrastructure and public health, serving as a vital hub for both international competitions and local community life.

The architectural concept, nicknamed "Helleren," utilizes a massive, sculptural roof and a transparent facade to create a light-filled, cave-like volume that houses Olympic-sized facilities within a cohesive urban landmark.

To mark our 80th anniversary, we’ve published a magazine featuring a selection of projects, mainly from the past 10 years.

Across healthcare, education, housing, infrastructure, and commercial buildings, it reflects how we continue to work from the same principles: architecture that centres on people, responds to its context, and is made to last.

If you’re curious, you can explore the online version via the link in bio - or stop by our office for a physical copy.
You can also (re)discover our 70th anniversary magazine.
