“Pétalo es una colección que siento especialmente cercana a mí.
Quizá porque nace de una sensación que me acompaña desde hace tiempo: la de no querer tener que elegir. Entre la ciudad y la naturaleza, entre lo delicado y lo fuerte, entre las distintas versiones de mí misma.
Durante mucho tiempo pensamos que tenemos que definirnos, encajar en una sola versión de quiénes somos. Y cada vez siento más que no es así. Somos muchas cosas a la vez. Cambiamos, crecemos, nos contradicimos y, aun así, seguimos siendo nosotras.
Por eso ninguna flor de Pétalo es igual. Algunas tienen seis pétalos, otras siete, otras ocho. Me gusta pensar que cada una representa una forma distinta de ser mujer.
Y que no hay nada que completar ni nada que corregir.
Somos el conjunto de todos nuestros pétalos. Y quizás ahí, precisamente, está nuestra belleza.”

Petalo is a collection that feels especially close to my heart.
Perhaps because it comes from a feeling that has been with me for a long time: the feeling that I don’t want to have to choose. Between the city and nature, between softness and strength, between all the different versions of myself.
For so long, we’ve been made to feel that we need to define ourselves, to fit into one single version of who we are. But I increasingly feel that it doesn’t have to be that way. We are many things at once. We change, we grow, we contradict ourselves, and yet we are still ourselves.
That’s why no flower in Petalo Collection is the same. Some have six petals, others seven, others eight. I like to think that each one represents a different way of being a woman.
And that there is nothing we need to complete, and nothing we need to fix.
We are the sum of all our petals. And perhaps that, precisely, is where our beauty lies.
