After countless hours of work and countless feet of wire I finally completed this amazing piece !! Very happy on how it turned out, the body is made from a 23" long single Viking knit chain in 24 gauge with a 10 gauge solid copper core, the copper head was smithed and enameled in a vibrant green color then captured onto the Viking knit with some wire wrapping accent.
This gorgeous cuff is easily adjustable and thus can be worn as a bracelet or as a harm band and it is now listed on my Etsy shop .

🐍 Well, after countless hours of work and countless feet of wire here it is !! Very happy on how it turned out, the body is just the perfect size, the enamel came out vibrant and the wire work on the head is exactly how I pictured it in my head 😊 !! This gorgeous piece will be listed on Etsy later today, stay tuned !! 🐍

For my next project I needed a chain between 21" and 24" but the most important part was to keep the end side open and not draw the entire weave through the plate. By the end of my 3 strand I knew it would be slightly too short but I had no idea how much I was missing so i decided to draw most of it and keep about an inch of it un stretch and then put it back to the mandrel to complete the job ! After first checking I was short by about 6" but ended being right on the parameters on the second draw . I will be out of town till Monday to celebrate my daughter's bday and I hope to have completed this piece by Tuesday and I will then post a video process of it by Wednesday and it will be listed on Etsy. Stay tuned because it will definitely be unique and I can't wait to share it with you all .

Yesterday I learnt a new skill and it will just open up a new world of possibilities once again !!
About a year ago I ordered a small enameling kit and since was too intimidated to try because I do not own a kiln and the firing has to be done with a torch. Needless to say I had to condition myself for a couple days before daring lighting it up and even though it isn't perfect I love the way it came out ❀ . Let me know if you have any tips on how to fire small pieces especially the ones including soldering, I would be forever thankful đŸ«¶đŸ»
