Having poured over my stone suggestions he chose this oval cut gem, that turns from a sea-foam green in daylight to a soft pinky purple in firelight.

Do you have a special place or moment that you would like to capture in your wedding rings?

For one of my clients it was the dramatic and rocky Fife coastline near their home. After a day spent beach coming they brought me a stunning piece of stone and I imprinted its contours into the surface of their band.

If you would like something similar, I can mould the surface of any object with a strong texture, from rocks to tree bark, sea shells to coral.

Remodel ~ I’ve been very quiet on Instagram this January, for the lovely reason that I’ve been very busy at the bench! Many of the pieces I’ve been working on have been engagement rings, so images of those are embargoed until the big questions have been asked.

Happily this remodel is a gift from the client to herself, so there’s no need for secrecy! Her old cut diamond, reclaimed from a platinum solitaire ring, glows in its new setting amongst light and dark toned natural sapphires in solid gold.
