Happy Wednesday friends 💕

Sometimes we spend so much time thinking about what's next, what we need to do, what we should do, what we should be working towards and all the things we feel we need to keep up with.

But lately, ive been learning to appreciate a little less noise.

To spend time doing the things that matter to me, to enjoy where I am right now, and not feel that I always need to be moving towards something else.

It's not about standing still or giving up on the things we want. Its about knowing that not every moment needs to be filled and not every season needs to be about progress.

Sometimes, simply being is enough 💕

Maybe that's a little reminder you needed too x

Happy Wednesday friends 💕

I've been at my bench this morning...looking glamorous 🤣
This is a beautiful piece of sea glass, it reminds me of stormy skies and seas 🌊. It has such an irregular shape that it isn't suited to setting so I thought it was time to get my tools out and do a bit of shaping myself.

This is a long process and as you can see i need to have a big mask on, I don't want to inhale any glass particals.

I've got one of my shapes almost finished, i need to reduce the thickness, but not sure by how much 🤔 (the thinner it gets the weaker the colour will be).

It will be a while before I get finished but I will update you as I go along.

What is your thoughts on the colour? Does it remind you of a stormy sea 🌊

So this happened yesterday....

I went to the water hoping to swim with blue sharks, and i honestly don't think think I'll ever get used to how incredible the ocean is beneath the surface.

There is something about being underwater that I find difficult to explain.

Everything becomes quiet.

It's just you, the water and the world beneath you.

And then you see the life around you and, for a little while, you feel like you've been allowed into their world.

I feel completely at home in the sea. And strangely, I feel safe there too.

I think that's probably why the sea finds its way into so much of what i do.

From the irish sea glass i collect to the jewellery I create, I'm always bringing a little piece of that connection with the coast back into my work.

And today...I got to share the water with blue sharks. A massive thanks to for making it possible and to for all your knowledge

Some days are just too good not to share 🦈

Happy Friday friends 💕

Yesterday was my daughter's prize giving and, as you can imagine, I was one very proud mammy 🥰. She was awarded Most Promising Piano Player, which was such a lovely moment for her.

But one of the messages from the afternoon really stayed with me.

Success looks different on all of us.

We all have different strengths, different dreams and different things that make us happy. And our paths don't have to look like anyone else's.

Sometimes we can get caught up in what everyone else is doing, wondering if we're doing enough or whether we're on the "right" path.

But there really isn't one path.

We have to find our own way. Follow what feels right for us. Make space for the things that light us up.

And I think that's something worth remembering at any age. 💪

You don't have to follow the tide.
Find your way. 🌊

And if you're anything like me, maybe that's a little reminder you needed today too. x

Happy Thursday friends 💕

Last week was my sea glass bezel setting class.

Now there are many things I love about my classes but up there is meeting you all.

You come from all over Ireland to set your sea glass 🥰 Last week I met two lovely ladies (one was from my home town which was a lovely surprise) and the time flew by.

We had the best craic, checking out each other's sea glass (basically salivating over each other's rare pieces 😉), chatting all things jewellery and let's not forget making our beautiful sea glass necklaces 😍.

Have a look and see what we made...check out those smiles too.

If you are interested in making your own sea glass jewellery why not book a class now. Dates are out until December. You can book directly on my website or send me a DM for more info.

Have a fantastic Thursday 🌊
