Even on a cloudy day Staithes on the North Yorkshire Coast is charming.

A quaint fishing village with postcard looks. Stacks of lobster crates are still visible on the quayside. It’s full of maritime history being the home of Captain Cook the legendary explorer.. Now home to artists and fossil hunters due to it perfectly positioned on the Dinosaur Coast.

Go early to avoid the crowds and pick up a coffee and breakfast at Cobbles.

We brushed off the clouds today with a trip to Tulip Festival

It’s tempting to show you everything but you need to go yourself.

This has to be one of the best diversifications to farming. It is the most beautiful sight to behold and there are some quirky touches that are art work in their own right.

Bluebell season is here and you can see these beautiful carpets of blue flowers all across Yorkshire.

North Cliffe Wood near Market Weighton is a local patch I’m excited to see and Riffa Woods near Otley not far from our stockists . Beningbrough Hall near York sounds like a day trip this month too.
