So you think holding a liquid metal (like Mercury) in your hands would be cool, but you would also like to have children one day?

Innovative Lasers has a solution that will let you do both!
Indium gallium nitride is used in our laser diodes but the pure elemental form of one of it's components (gallium) is a metal that will melt simply from the heat of your hand (at 85 F) and unlike mercury is non-toxic.

The only problem is that elemental Gallium does not exist naturally on earth. But not to worry it can be produced and separated via other methods and Innovative Lasers will be maintaining a stock of this rare earth metal to sell to our loyal customers!

Innovative Lasers is now selling several unique chemical formulations including Europium doped Strontium Silicate Aluminate and an amazingly strong florescent dye! New formulations of Strontium Aluminate in different colors will be available soon.

The feat was made possible by the collaboration of the San Antonio Astronomical Association and NASA.

For comparison, the lasers we currently sell are all over twice as bright as the one used for this experiment.
