POV: You’re so busy making your own jewellery that you forget your phone exists.

One thing we’ve noticed since opening is that no one worries about what’s happening on their phones when they’re in the studio. It might not sound like much, but these days it can be hard to fully enjoy something without the temptation to check a notification, scroll social media, or reply to a message.

But here, phones are forgotten about. We all need a digital break sometimes.

Take a little time away from texts, emails, and social media, and switch off while you create something just for you, made by you.

Honestly, my favourite part of working at pineapple Island has nothing to do with the actual jewellery…

It’s the messages we get.

From someone who’s worn the same bracelet every single day for three years. The person who tied on an anklet the morning they finally made that scary life change. The one who bought a necklace before booking the trip they’d been saving up for.

Over 130,000 customers in, we’ve realised people don’t remember the pieces themselves. They remember where they were when they put them on. What they were feeling. What they were about to do.
