I think for me, this has been a long time coming 😊 Making jewellery isn’t bringing me the joy it used to and hasn’t for a while if I’m honest. A consequence of many things including a crap economy, increased costs, AI, the rise of temu etc. And although my hours at the day job have increased, I’m so grateful that I work part time ~ but I do actually want to start enjoying the time I have at home, instead of stressing about making, creating content, taking photos, listing and all the other small business tasks that take up endless amounts of time and energy 😵‍💫

I can’t stop being creative, I always have been and it’s part of who I am 😌 I might start making buttons and connectors with the gems and sea glass I have for jewellery makers/other crafters and selling little batches directly on here 🤷‍♀️ I might start sewing again and have more time for writing and photography ~ honestly who knows 😁

A big thank you to everyone who has supported Surf & Scout over the years 🙏 I’ve learned a lot and achieved so much that I’m really proud of and I love that you’ve been a such an important part of that journey 😌 Your support and kindness has always been amazing 🥹 I’ll definitely be around here still, just less often. ⭐️💚 Happy Thursday! 💚⭐️ If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know I love rock pools! Honestly, I find them fascinating 👀 My favourite rock pool find is always a starfish 😁 Sailors used to believe they were stars that had fallen from the sky! 🌠
