I have always enjoyed making things and being creative, and after various advice from friends and family I decided to start up the company. I mostly create 3D picture frames and greetings cards (which both can be personalised for any occasion - birthdays, weddings, engagements etc.) and glass/crystal beaded jewellery, but have also started making scented natural soaps and have a few more ideas up

my sleeves.. watch out for more! I shall be attending various craft fairs, community events, festivals etc. over the summer so come along to see me at my new stall! A website is in slow progress but I hope to have this up and running in the next few months. The URL www.gingerlilydesigns.co.uk is now all mine. And I can't forget to mention the inspiration behind the name, my cat Tiger Lily! (well half the inspiration anyway) It was almost going to be called Fancy Panda, Green Giraffe or Turquoise Tortoise! As for the ginger... well I quite like ginger. Did you know, there is a ginger lily flower? It is called "Hedychium", native to Asia and is derived from two ancient Greek words, hedys meaning "sweet" and chios meaning "snow".
