Some years ago I designed what became my signature pendant (2nd photo). Recently I had the opportunity to reimagine that design for a special 21st birthday gift. The result was a deconstruction of the original. I’m very pleased with the result. It was really refreshing to go back to an early idea and play around with it to turn it into something new. Unlike the original this new design hangs sideways in a bar style necklace. This version is also made of white gold and yellow gold supplied from a family ring which was melted down to create what will hopefully be a future heirloom.

This remodel was made with gold and diamonds from an old heirloom ring to create something new and modern - a half eternity ring using a mixture of graduated baguette and princess cut diamonds. Meaning the centre stone is the largest with two slightly smaller stones on either side and two square stones on the outsides. This is now a truly unique ring for the wearer and a new lease of life for the gold and gemstones.

A special piece for a very special birthday. This pearl bracelet is handmade in sterling silver with freshwater pearls. Art imitating life - this design is inspired by how pearls are formed in clam shells - each piece carefully cut and shaped to house each pearl.

This bespoke engagement ring is a real statement piece featuring a bold 6.32ct oval tourmaline measuring over 1.4cm in length. Alongside it are two trapezoid diamonds totalling 1ct.

Design wise this ring is influenced by antique engagement rings. However the trapezoid diamonds makes this ring unmistakably modern. 18ct gold and platinum ensures the most premium finish.

Under the right lighting this dark tourmaline shows glimmers of green.

This bespoke remodel gave the client’s old jewellery a new lease of life with this beautiful 3/4 eternity. A bright and rich yellow gold with flush set diamonds and a stepped white gold band made for a stunning 2-tone statement piece that the customer can cherish for another generation.

This bespoke platinum engagement ring has a teal sapphire taking centre stage and it’s in good company with four baguette diamonds. 🤩
This particular sapphire exhibits a degree of colour change - a gemological term where the colour of the stone changes depending on the light source. In this case it changes between blue and green.

The baguette diamond cut meanwhile, known for its elongated rectangular shape, gained prominence during the Art Deco period of the 1920s and 1930s and is named after the French word for “long rod” or “stick”
