I recently had the honour of creating this beautiful collection of memorial jewellery for a whole family after the heartbreaking loss of their much-loved mum. Each piece was made to help keep her close, carrying not only ashes but so much love, memory and meaning.
Her family told me how proud she was of her Irish roots, so for several of the pieces we incorporated beautiful Irish-inspired colours — rich greens, white and orange — creating something deeply personal and symbolic for them all ☘️

Sometimes I get so caught up in creating each piece that I forget to actually stop and share them… but after handing over this beautiful gold memorial ring yesterday, I just had to.
Reading this review honestly left me completely overwhelmed. Knowing that something I created brought so much comfort to this lovely lady’s mum means more to me than I can put into words. Memorial jewellery is never “just jewellery” to me — every single piece carries somebody’s memories, love and story, and it’s such a huge privilege to be trusted with that.

Last week I had the honour of creating another one of my popular Lovely Laura rings for the lovely Chrissie, in memory of her gorgeous boy Dexter — a beautiful Maine C**n with the biggest personality and so much love to give.
Sadly, Dexter crossed the rainbow bridge far too soon, but his memory will always stay close. Like so many Maine C**ns, he was full of character, affection and presence, leaving paw prints that could never be forgotten.

💛 Gold PVD Memorial Jewellery 💛

With prices of precious metals soaring and people already struggling with living costs, it stands to reason that solid gold memorial jewellery might not be affordable to everyone.
Some customers still prefer the look of gold though, especially if they already wear gold jewellery that was bought during better times.
Customers may be considering gold plating as a cheaper alternative to solid gold, but I don't personally recommend that and here is, why..

Traditional gold plating sits on the surface as a very thin layer. With time, wear, and skin contact, that layer can gradually wear away — revealing the metal beneath and changing the way the piece looks.

So what do I recommend instead...

Gold PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) is a newer technology, it works best on hard metals like stainless steel.
Unlike traditional electroplating, PVD bonds the real 18ct gold to the stainless steel at a molecular level, creating a finish that is significantly stronger and more stable.

This means:
• Greater resistance to wear and fading
• No tarnishing or darkening over time
• Excellent performance against moisture and everyday contact
• A hypoallergenic, skin-kind finish

And…..that’s a wrap! All of our newest stainless steel pieces are now finally uploaded onto the website, available to order, and some have been ordered and made already.
New to the collection we have rose gold pvd and gold pvd stainless steel pendants with their matching colour chains and also rose gold and gold heart charms too.
PVD stands for Physical Vapour Deposition, and is a way of adding a highly durable 18ct rose gold or 18ct gold coating to stainless steel, titanium and other metal products. It is more durable and much longer lasting than traditional gold electroplating.
Stainless steel is perfect for those who have allergies to other metals.

I’ve been meaning to share this beautiful photo of dear Alfie for a little while now.
Louise was absolutely heartbroken to lose her precious boy last May.
To keep him close, she chose a sparkling wishbone ring to hold some of his soft, lovely fur.
Encased in shimmering Fire & Snow crushed opals, this piece now catches the light in the most magical way, just like Alfie did. 🐾
Now, whenever Louise looks down at her hand, she knows he’s right there beside her, bringing a little daily comfort and a gentle reminder that love never truly leaves us. 🌈🐾

I’ve been hearing from various people for a while that there has been something missing in memorial jewellery for some of their family members who have different needs and ways of processing their grief after loss, so I’d like to share something very special with you.
