⭐️ Come and enjoy a free, festive evening in Retford at the Retford Illuminate Winter Festival of Light and Late-Night Shopping event! Tomorrow, Thursday 12th December from 4.30pm to 7pm.

🏮 Starting with a beautiful Lantern Parade by children from local schools at 4.30pm from outside Wonderland Bookshop on Carolgate, the parade then proceeds through the town centre into the Market Square where they will sing carols led by Jessica Mary Corr-Brett and Vinyl Sounds - DJ Tim Asher.

🎅 Santa will call in for a visit at about 5.00pm (courtesy of Retford Lions Club) and children can enjoy a free children’s fairground ride, a brilliant free snowglobe, free face painting, and ...Evie the Elf, and Aurora, the Frost Fairy, will be saying hello.

🌭 There will be a mini night-time market with festive stalls as well as street food providers on Market Square, including LJ's Natural Treats, Mazikeen Skulls & Jewellery Shine and sparkle , The Burger Grill, Flour + Brew, The Rotary Club of Retford.

☕ All these town centre shops and cafes will stay open until 7pm for you to enjoy some festive late night Christmas shopping and delicious seasonal refreshments:
