Happy Easter! Easter is my favourite time to visit home and my family.

While walking in a small town I found a very old door knocker with the same texture as my decade’s necklaces. The thought of someone using it hundreds of years before me makes me smile.

I’ve been enjoying adding a touch of colour to my work with stones.

I’m slowly making a range of rings and pendants, trying different ideas. All very exciting for me!

A pair of these ready to be collected. An old favourite, you could call it even a classic!

I always enjoy making them, even when my hands are covered in cat scratches and hammering injuries. 🐈‍⬛🔨

Late summer feels like a distant memory on this extremely windy day in Edinburgh. The leaves have all gone and the little acorns have disappeared too, but this one remains. I sand casted it in silver and it keeps a small reminder of the season with it.

Shown: recycled sterling silver sand cast acorn and textured oak leaf necklace.

Golden update ✨

I’ve been working quietly behind the scenes on something many of you have asked for, and I’m so happy to say that several pieces from my Fold Collection are now available in 18ct gold vermeil.

Handcrafted in recycled sterling silver and finished with the warm golden glow of 18ct yellow gold, each pair features the signature folded shape and textured surface that catches the light beautifully.

Both sizes are now live on the website, along with the new gold vermeil necklaces and drop earrings.

I hope you like them as much as me. ❤️

Back from a few days in Naples and Pompeii.

An incredible assault on the senses: traffic and mopeds, St Maradona everywhere, the best pizza I’ve ever had, clothes hanging to dry in the street next magnificent churches.

Walking the ruins of Pompeii was a highlight of our visit, a very moving and immersive experience. Beautifully eerie.

Napoli is not for the faint hearted but we loved it.

I was only fifteen the first time I came to Scotland. That summer I turned sixteen, and by the end of my stay I knew that one day I would live here.

I’ve had many doubts about my life decisions, but choosing to make Scotland my home twenty-five years ago was never one of them.
